URDC 6 Searching

If your TV, VCR, or Auxiliary Component does not respond to the remote after trying all of the codes listed for your brand, or if your brand is not listed at all, try searching for your code.

For example, after trying all of the codes for your TV, you still cannot get the DRC to operate your TV, then:

  1. Turn on your TV.
  2. On the remote, press and hold the SET button until the TV indicator light lights up (about 4 seconds), and then release the SET button.
  3. Press and release the TV button, and the TV button light will blink once then stay on.
  4. Aim the remote at your television, and press and release the UP button.
  5. You will see the TV button flash every two seconds as the remote searches for the correct code for your television, which may take some time. When your television powers off, press and release the ENTER button and the TV light will turn off.

To search for codes of your other components, repeat steps 1 through 6, but substitute the appropriate device key (i.e. VCR or AUX) for the component you are searching for.
