I cannot receive incoming calls, but I can make outgoing calls.
  • Your Grandstream adapter may not have synced with your cable modem. Follow these steps to resolve your problem:
  1. Power off both your cable modem and your Grandstream adapter.
  2. Wait 1 minute, then power on the cable modem.
  3. After 3 minutes, power on the Grandstream.
  4. Wait until the POWER, WAN, and LAN lights on the Grandstream are lit solid and try again.

The POWER and WAN lights on the Grandstream adapter do not turn on.
  • Make sure that you have connected the power cord to an electrical outlet and to the 12V port on the Grandstream adapter.

POWER and LAN lights are on, but the WAN light is not lit.
  • Make sure that you have connected an Ethernet cable into the Grandstream port labeled WAN, and ensure that the other end of the Ethernet cable has been plugged into your cable modem.

Now all three lights are on. When I try to place a call, I hear dial-tone, but receive a fast busy signal after dialing a telephone number.

It’s been 5 minutes, and I still receive a fast busy signal after dialing a telephone number.
  • For single-line VoIP service, ensure that your touch-tone telephone is connected to the Phone1 port on the Grandstream adapter.  If your phone is connected to Phone1 and you still experience this problem, then your Grandstream adapter has not yet synced with the VoIP access provider. Wait 5 minutes and try again.

My WAN and LAN lights are blinking simultaneously.

Your MiPhone adapter is updating the software used to operate your phone service. Please allow at least 5-10 minutes for this process to complete. You may see your MiPhone's lights going on and off during this process. When the process is complete, you should see your power, WAN, and LAN (if your computer/router is powered on) lights solid.
