Faxing With Your MiPhone
Your MiPhone will be able to process faxes just like a land-line. In some cases, you may experience trouble faxing with your MiPhone service.
Checking Your Fax Compatibility
Some fax machines are not compatible with VoIP technology. You will need to refer to your fax machine's user manual for specific information regarding using your fax machine with our VoIP service. Try disabling "ECM" (Error Correction Mode) on your fax machine.
Checking Your Phone Lines
There may be a bad phone connection between your fax machine and your MiPhone. Try replacing the telephone cord between your fax machine and MiPhone. We recommend a 2-prong phone line for the best results.
Testing Your Fax Machine
You may test you fax machine by sending a test fax to: 1-888-473-2963 (courtesy of HP). When your fax is received by the HP Test Fax Service, they will generate a return fax to you within five minutes confirming that they received your fax. This verifies that you can both send and receive a fax with your fax machine.
